Description:
1980 manufacture 20 gauge 2 3/4” chambers. 26 3/8” barrels with narrow ¼” ventilated rib, choked improved cylinder (.010) and modified (.018). The top barrel is marked FABRIQUE NATIOANALE HERSTAL BELGIQUE and has the caliber and chamber length on the left side. The right side is marked MADE IN BELGIUM – BROWNING PATENTS and BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL & Montreal PQ. The rib has a single silver bead on it. The receiver, forend iron and trigger guard are nickel finished. The barrels are blued. The receiver is engraved on both sides and bottom with a bouquet of flowers surrounded by scroll. Scroll engraving is present on the forend iron, top lever and trigger guard. This gun has a single, selective mechanical trigger and ejectors. The straight grip stock and forearm are checkered with a wrap around point pattern at 26 lines per inch. The length of pull is 15” over a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. Drop at comb is 1 5/16”, drop at heel is 2 3/8”. Weight is 6.2 lbs. Condition: Overall excellent. The barrels retain 99% original bluing with some light freckling near the muzzle. The receiver, forend iron and trigger guard are excellent but could benefit from a light cleaning. The buttstock and forend retain 99% of their factory gloss finish with a few minor handling dings.
The factory box is included with this gun. It is well worn and includes the owners manual and hang tag.
