CASED MINT BROWNING LIGHTNING SUPERPOSED 30" TRAP 12GA. LONG TANG ROUND KNOB SEMI BEAVERTAIL SHOTGUN, CIRCA 1959. Serial number "73465", circa 1959. 30" standard checkered vent rib. Choked FULL over IM as denoted on sidewalls of barrels. Beautifully factory checkered stock and forend. Browning waffle vent rubber trap pad at the end of 14 1/2" LOP. Buttstock is factory in dimensions with nothing altered, taken down or sanded in any way. This is the way Browning light lacquer from this period should look. Love to keep the gun in order to campare all others of this period to but can't keep them all. Screws and metal on receiver are mint with no drivers taken to them whatsoever. Lever is far right of center and presumed virtually unfired judging from remainder of shotgun's condition. The semi-beavertail forend denotes one of only two years this type were made know as the "Lightning Trap". Very rare, especially in near new condition from 1959. Like condition period luggage case. This gun was in a collection with a similar 20ga. for sale by us as well. Weight is 7 1/2 lbs.
