Yep, it's true; this rifle has not been fired since it left the factory at least 80 years ago (I'm waiting to see if Remington can give me a precise date of manufacture.: received the messsqage from Remington is that this rifle was manufactured in 1936.) Remington tells me that this rifle was manufactured in 1936! The rifle is in 32-20 (32 WCF) caliber and is unaltered- that is, no sling swivels, no extra holes or cracks in the stock, no blemished metal. The original Remington deep blue is beautiful. This rifle would be the gem of a Remington man's collection.
