Description:

Forehand and Wadsworth Old model Army. Very nice gun with excellent original nickel. This gun has the 7 ½” barrel. Cylinder pin and barrel collar serve as the ejector compared to the new model which has an ejector rod housing and a shorter barrel. This gun has a figure of a bear stamped on the left hand side of the frame. It is thought this is a dealers’ retailer marking. Others have hypothesized this is a California Militia mark. Grips show some carry use. They are numbered in pencil on the side. Very fine scarce gun.
