Winchester model 1866 .44 caliber Saddle Ring Carbine. Serial #127362. Bore is surprisingly very good and bright with excellent rifling. Not mint but close. Action works perfectly. Brass has fine mustard color patina. (Initials “BW” ) on the right sideplate, done long ago by some previous owner. Sideplated mortises show no tampering. Wood is very good with only some light nicks. Wood is very good with only some light nicks. Very fine 66” SRC barrel address is excellent.
