Description:
32” Nitro steel barrels with 2 ¾” chambers, choked .034 right and .037 left. Full length ventilated rib with diamond shaped posts and two ivory beads. Right barrel is marked L.C. SMITH CROWN GRADE and the left is marked MADE TO ORDER BY THE HUNTER ARMS CO. INC. FULTON, N.Y. The barrels retain 95% of a probable reblue job with various light scratches. The rib is straight with no dents or dings. There is a dent in the outer edge of the left barrel at the breech end. It does not affect lockup. Bores are bright and shiny. Hunting dog scenes are engraved on both side plates with floral and scroll patterns. The receiver and trigger guard are engraved with a floral and scroll pattern. A gold crown is inlaid on the top lever. The receiver, sideplates, top lever and forend iron retain 75% original case color. The trigger guard retains 95% original bluing. This gun has a Hunter One selective, mechanical trigger, non-automatic safety and ejectors. The pistol grip stock is point checkered at 22 lines per inch that wraps over the grip. It appears to have had varnish added has a few light handling marks. It has a hard rubber grip cap and Hawkins recoil pad. The forearm is point checkered at 22 lines per inch, also has had varnish added and has a few light handling marks. It has a one inch chip at the top rear edge. Length of pull is 14 1/2”, drop at comb is 1 3/8”, drop at heel is 2”. Weight is 8.2 lbs. Trigger selector does not select left barrel. Ejectors are in time.
