SOLD PENDING FUNDS: For Sale is a Winchester Deluxe pre-war lever action rifle designated a Model 71. It is in .348 Winchester caliber and has a 24" barrel. It has a 2/3 tube mag, which holds 4 cartridges. This is the deluxe early version with fancy pistol grip cap, checkered wood stock and sling swivel studs. The bore is excellent and the mechanics function perfectly. The condition of this 1936 manufactured rifle is rated at 98%. The ware is mostly located on the under side of the receiver from being carried. The inside of the lever has a little finish loss and the stock has a few dings. The over all condition is outstanding. This model was manufactured from 1935 to 1957. This rifle has the long tang and the bolt mounted peep sight. This wil make an excellent addition to any Winchester collection.
