Description:
32” Nitro steel barrels with 2 ¾” chambers, choked .038 right and .038 left. Single plane ventilated rib with a single silver mead bead that has been replaced and a white front bead. Right barrel is marked L.C. SMITH SPECIALTY GRADE and the left is marked HUNTER ARMS CO. INC. MFR’S FULTON, N.Y. USA. The barrels appear to have been reblued and retain 99% finish. The rib has no dents or dings. Bores are bright and shiny. The receiver and side plates have the typical Specialty Grade engraving. The trigger guard is engraved with a scroll pattern. The receiver and sideplates retain 80+% case color. The forend iron retains 50% color. The trigger guard has been reblued and retains 99% finish. This gun has a Hunter One selective, mechanical trigger, non-automatic safety and ejectors. The pistol grip stock is point checkered at 20 lines per inch that wraps over the grip. It may have had some varnish added and has a few very light handling marks. It has a hard rubber grip cap and a Decelerator recoil pad. The forearm is point checkered at 20 lines per inch and also may have had varnish added with a few very light handling marks. Length of pull is 14 3/16”, drop at comb is 1 5/16”, drop at heel is 1 7/8”. Weight is 8.6 lbs. Mechanics are excellent.
