- Note: Here's an opportunity to own one of the historic model 1895 Winchester rifles and be able to go out and use it. This gun has been completely refinished with a matte finish on the metal and oil finish on the stock. The gun apparently was mounted with a side-mounted scope at some point and those holes were plugged professionally prior to being refinished. The gun is in original profile with typical iron sights and a good shooting bore. If you ever wanted to hunt with an 1895, here's one at the price and condition that will allow you to do so!
