Sharps Carbine 1851 and /or 1852 Patent 1848 Serial Number 1908. Has the Dr. Maynard Cap Priming System. Rifling is very good has some exterior rust on barrel. Wood stock and forearm is in very good shape. Missing the rear post tang site. Recent appraisal ranges from $7000 to $7500
