SOLD PENDING FUNDS: For Sale is a beautiful German Guild Rifle which is heavily engraved (see pictures). The caliber is 8.57 mm (8mm) (.323") and built on a Mauser 98 action. The barrel is 22" and the stock is a full Mannlichter walnut with cheek piece. A Decelerator rubber butt pad has been added. The receiver and butter knife bolt handle are engraved with the European Oak Leaves motif and the floor plate and trigger guard are engraved with hunting animals and scenes. (See pictures). The screw heads are also engraved. The bore and mechanics are excellent. The rifle is rated at 98% overall with a few small dings to the stock. The rifle is equipped with a K Kahles 6X scope with a 49 mm objective lens and the optics are excellent. The mounts are the quick detachable claw style. This is a beautifully crafted European rifle, which I believe was produced sometime in the 1930's or 40's.
