Remington Army 9th Cavalry marked caliber revolver. Very neat historic gun! These were issued to the 9nth Cavalry, also known as the Buffalo soldiers or the colored units. These units did some of the most severe fighting in the Indian wars. They were issued obsolete arms while their white counterparts has the latest greatest arms. Gun has been cleaned and has smooth gray patina. Grips have been checkered. Very neat historical gun!
