Description:
S# 191551, 30-30/12 GA 2 5/8 inch, 28 inch fluid steel barrels, good bores showing erosion. Shotgun barrel is modified choke. This gun was built prior to World War 2 for import to the USA. The barrels are marked Sauer & Son and locks are engraved Charles Daly action works well and barrels lock up tight. Metal surfaces are mostly grey with staining barrels show strong traces of blue in protected areas, frame has traces of case colors. Rifle barrel has a small are of pitting. Wood is quite worn with added finish. There is a small crack behind upper tang and toe has a sanded out chip. Gun has simple line engraving and matted rib with two leaf rear sight. A high quality cape gun with American chambering. FFL or C+R
