Description:
Very good condition Winchester 1894 take-down rifle made in 1927. SN 10035XX.Very good wood, that looks like hand rubbed oil. And metal on this .30-30 caliber is about mostly blue on the octagonal barrel and mag. tube, with the receiver brown and spots of raised darker corrosion. The 26" octagonal barrel has a clean bore with good rifling and some roughness in the grooves, but will spin a bullet real good. A vintage side mount Lyman peep sight is on the left side of receiver , and looks quite good. Original front, and rear dovetail has a stud . Overall a clean early long barrel take-down Winchester, with the crescent steel butt-plate. Difficult to find these.
