Description:
A good working Colt made 1911 with original finish. The exterior metal has faded blue on the slide and the frame is about all grey. Left side has a AA marking (Augusta Arsenal) possibly for a rework after WWI. Has the military proof in a circle on the left side also. Has a very clean, shiny strong rifled bore. Some parts may have been changed at the arsenal after the war, but the gun looks good. Left side of the slide has very fine nicks from storage, but nothing too deep and ugly. The American walnut diamond grips look original and still have strong cuts.SN 1434XX. Comes with one blue mag. Respectable WWI era U.S military pistol.
