Description:
20 gauge, 28″ (marked modified and full) and 26″ (marked improved cylinder and modified) barrels with matted game ribs have Parker Reproduction by Winchester information, and “Made in Japan” marked on ribs. Gauges and chambers are marked on left sides. Serial numbers and Parker reproduction proofs are on barrels flats. Loops are stamped “1” and “2”. Rear lumps are stamped for frame size “0”. Case hardened action is filed with three beads behind fences, and is fitted with automatic safety and gold-plated Parker single, selective trigger with checkered finger blade. Finely marbled and lightly figured European walnut capped pistol grip buttstock with a length of pull that measures 13-7/8″ over skeleton steel buttplate with checkering and fleur-di-lis intrusion. Stock is carved and checkered in “A-1” Special style with raised fleur-di-lis in sunken side panels, also as drop points, and fleur-di-lis theme carries into very fancy checkering pattern. Rosewood grip cap has serrated spacer and inset vacant gold oval. Matching long beavertail ejector forend has reinforcing bolt and typical Parker release. 28″ Barrel set “1”: Bore diameter: left -.617, right -.617. Bore restrictions: left -.035 (full), right -.017 (mod). Bbl set “2”: Bore diameter: left -.617, right -.617. Bore restrictions: left -.016 (mod), right -.010 (IC). CONDITION: Excellent, near new, as custom finished. Barrels retain nearly all of a fine satin rust blue with some light marks, mostly on sides of the 26″ set. Well done case colors have some slight silvering on bottom and on sharp edges. Bores are excellent. Mechanically crisp. Drop at heel: 2-1/4″, drop at comb: 1-9/16″. Weight: 7 lbs 0 oz. with 28” barrels.
