Description:
This pre 64 model 70 retains 99% original bluing on the barrel, receiver and bottom metal. It has a 25” C-1 barrel with a clean, shiny bore. Matching serial numbers on receiver and featherweight style bolt. There is a set of Talley bases mounted on the tapered tang receiver. Original Winchester 70B “roll over” sight, front silver bead sight and sight hood. Original steel floorplate and bottom metal. The stock is non factory green synthetic with a Monte Carlo cheek piece, checkered grip and forearm. It has a 13 ½” length of pull over a Pachmayr recoil pad. Weight is 8.9 lbs. Overall condition is excellent.
