Sauer BBF54 Combination Gun
Very nice post war Sauer's BBF 54 in 16 ga / 222Remington with Claw mounts and a Carl Zeiss Scope. The scope has the reticule with the three posts and wire cross hairs. I sent the scope back to Germany and had the crosshairs installed and the scope was cleaned and serviced by Zeiss. This is a very nice shooting rifle/shotgun combination gun. Perfect for grouse and predator hunting. Wood is solid, with some nice figure, no cracks or gouges and the checkering is problem free too. Bore is perfect, and the rifle barrel’s single set trigger works perfectly. The bluing is fine, and there are no pitting, cracks or gouges.
