This is a "SAVAGE MODEL 99K, 24" Barrel, Excellent Bore, Gun has been Refurbished, But Appears Original Blue, Wood Refinished. Apparently Scope Mount Holes were Filled and Polished, and are Only Apparent with close Inspection. LOP:13 1/8". Excellent Mechanically. Special Hand Checkered Select Walnut Stocks, Receiver and Barrel Artistically Engraved. Lyman Rear Peep Sight, This is a Takedown Model and Represents "FINEST EXAMPLE OF SAVAGE ARMS PRODUCTION RIFLES" This gun was made in 1939, SN#383084. The .300 Savage was the only one with a 24" Barrel. One 1/2" Hairline Crack left side of Tang. Gun Ships Lower 48, $50.00
