Henry 1st .44 Rimfire caliber rifle. Made in 1863. Early gun with dove tail frame and early style butt plate. Metal has a smooth brown patina with light pitting on both sides of the gun. Frame has a nice even brown patina. Stock looks like it spent most of its life in dry climate. Henry bump is still present and visible. There is an area chipped at the butt plate. Gun is all matching. Screws at frame are unnumbered. Very good affordable Henry!
