WATERLOO ERA NAPOLEONIC CHARLEVILLE AN XIII FLINTLOCK CAVALRY PISTOL DATED 1815. .69 caliber 8” barrel dated and proofed at the breech “1815” and “D” in an oval touch mark. Lock plate engraved in script “MANUFRE IMP./ DE CHARLEVILLE” which is the correct mark for the First Empire of Napoleon with the date of his return from Elba and the “100 Days” leading up to the Battle of Waterloo. All original and complete and in very good condition for this model. Complete compliment of inspection marks including a crisp circular stock cartouche. Medium grey metal with light patina. Very good wood with sharp edges. Barely visible fine wrist hairline. Markings particularly crisp.
