My first magnum handgun: a S&W 28-2 that is all meat and potatoes. These highway patrolmans are the workhorse of the S&W stable. I won't schmooze it up. Bluing around 90% with wear around the usual holster places. Rifling excellent but needs a cleaning. Maybe I'll get around to it here shortly. Turn line there but not much. Pinned and recessed. Rock solid lock up. See pics for the truth of the matter. This is a shooter that may become a collector in about a hundred years. Maybe. Has a pachmayr grip. FYI ALL the magnums need a rubber grip to shoot. The wooden grips will cut your hand and make you shake after 50 rounds or so. For the money the highway patrolman is the best, strongest shooter you'll find. Thanks for looking. Capt. John
