Description:
Finnish model 1927 army short rifle. This model shows a 27" barrel with a bright excellent bore. The top shows the serial # 81891 the Tikka makers logo, D & F for the Finnish bullet weight and length. This example shows the scarce 1935 date. As per the mosin-nagant by lapin and the Vic Thomas on line article there were very few M/27 rifles built between 1935&1937. This example SN 81891 is all original matching, shows a bright excellent bore and 95% of its original blue. The wood rates as very good plus, walnut stock showing only normal service or storage marks. An above average example of Finnish 1927, retaining all of the early features. FFL or C&R
