Description:
Ithaca NID 20ga in the hard to find grade one.This gun has 26"barrels choked improved cylinder (.010") and improved modified (.022").It has twin ivory beads and excellent bores free of rust,pits,or dents.Other features are a pistol grip stock,double triggers,extractors,and a 141/2"LOP over a ventilated pad.Built in 1927,this gun still retains over 40% of the original case colors and 98% of the original barrel blue.The stock and forend retain at least 98% of the original finish.The barrels lock up tightly with the top lever to the right.All roll marks, engraving,and screw heads are sharp and crisp.All matching numbers.The gun weighs 6-4 and is balanced on the hinge pin.The barrels are mark 4 and 4,so the chokes were opened to a more practical choke at some time.I have patterned the gun and both barrels shoot great patterns and are correct point of impact.this is a great NID for the collector or the upland shooter.Very hard to find in this condition and this grade.C&R eligible.
