Rare!!! Collectors Welcome!!! Antique 1900 -1925th GERMAN snipe rifle scope Voigtländer/Braunschweig SKOPARETTE 4X magnification . Elevation adjustment and focusing work excellent. Lenses have clear View(but I recommend to clean lenses inside to have more sharp view).Bluing on scope dark brown(around 75%).Very rare scope. Company Voigtländer from Braunschweig produced rifle scopes in Germany prior to World War I for use on sporting,huntig rifles.With the onset of the war, Voigtländer/Braunschweig scopes, along with many other previously manufactured sporting rifle scopes, were adapted by the German Army for use on their Scharfschutzen-Gewehr 98 Sniping Rifles. All Voigtländer /Braunschweig scopes are scarce in the USA. I have new Akah mounts with bases set for this scope. Please look E-Bay item #252032074029.
