German rifle scope B.NICKEL SUPRA (B.NICKEL) MARBURG/L 6X E/D/S, (circa 1953-1974) with 14 mm dovetail rail and caps. Rifle scope is in excellent condition except scratches on central rail from mounts.This scope was used rarely on H& K model SL7 ca.308 and not for a long time. I was impressed by the quality of the lens and sharp picture,same as C.Zeiss, Swarowski and other Famous German and Austrian Brands. Elevation, windage, focusing ring are in very good working condition. To install this scope, please look on my other items and maybe you can find mounts to your rifle Magnification 6 X Field of view 27 feet at 100 yards Eye relief 3.25-5.0 inches Length 11.25 inches Weight 9 ounces Luminosity 136 Tube diameter 26 mm(1.023 inches) B. Nickel, who was an engineer at the Zeiss Jena plant during World War II, was picked up by a U.S. rescue team when the Russians invaded Germany. The optical engineering design in Supra telescopic sights is basically the same as in the Zeiss’s, with the addition Mr. Nickels improvements. All Nickel Supra scopes featured weatherproof alloy tubes for weight savings, ½ minute click adjustments, the choice of Crosswire, Post and Crosswire, Post and Crossbar, Tapered Post or 3 inch Dot reticles. All are very high quality, extremely rugged scopes. Nickel is only selling riflescopes direct to hunters and target shooters. Nickel riflescopes are not available from shops. This is why the finest riflescopes Made in Germany can be offered at very attractive prices.
