Revolutionary War 9 inch iron Tent Stake from North Carolina (not dug). 9 inch long blacksmith forged iron tent stake from Revolutionary War. Straight sided tie point at top, round shank with 4 twists, rest round down to sharp end. No rust. Excellent condition. Our family bought this in Salisbury, N.C. on a family vacation in 1964. More revolutionary battles and skirmishes were fought in South Carolina (which then included southern North Carolina) than in any other colony. Cow Pens, King’s Mountain (now in N. Carolina, mostly), etc. Very scarce piece. Shipping $6.00
