Quality Consingments Wanted! This Garand's serial number is 135491. This is a early Winchester receiver. The barrel is a Springfield dated 2-43. The bore is very fine with no belling of the frront muzzle. There are some Winchester parts with the trigger group. This rifle has the correct World War 2 rear sight with the lock bar. The stock is a correct military replacement with no stampings or codes. The stock has the late tools and brush in the storage compartment. This garand would rate a 94% overall condition. This is a nice shooter grade Winchester Garand That is not a import or beat up.It also can be a nice resoration project due to the low serial number.
