-Sale Pending- Took this one on trade about eight years ago. I decided to keep it has been in the vault ever since. Now I've decided it should go to someone who wants it more. This is a nickle finish Smith and Wesson Model 27 with an 8 3/8 in. barrel. It has original equipment target hammer, trigger and stocks. It has a pinned barrel which puts it before about 1980. The condition is estimated at 95% and it has been fired. The bore is excellent and the lands are still sharp. There is a cylinder ring from the bolt. This is common with nickle finish. It is not through the finish and would most likely polish out if one took the time to do it. It is in good enough condition to be fairly collectable and used enough so you can shoot it without affecting the value. The Model 27 is successor to the original unnumbered 357 magnum. It is a 357 magnum on a 44 sized N frame. It comes with the original presentation box and accessories. I'd rank the box at about 75%. The upper retainer is loose and there is some wear on the flocked inner surface. The original paper box with the hand inscribed end label and the other paper work are not present. They were gone when I took it in trade.
