Arrieta y CIA is one of the finest of the Spanish made shotguns produced in the true Basque traditions. Michael McIntosh praises the Arrieta in his book "Best Guns" and in fact carried his Arrieta afield as much as any other gun he owned. The Basque makers were famous for making quality "copies" of other guns, and this Arrieta is a Holland & Holland sidelock action produced to perfection. With chopper lump barrels, removable striker discs, articulated front trigger, stocked to the fences, cocking indicators, deep chiseled engraving, perfectly struck barrels, you have ALL OF THE BEST GUN FEATURES AT A FRACTION OF THE PRICE! This gun, sn168-12 built in 2012, with the long, graceful 29" barrels choked IC/M and 6lb. weight, balanced 1/4" ahead of the hinge pin, is a lightning fast little bird gun that is the perfect gun for your upland birds. Not so light as to be whippy, but an easy carry for all day walks over hill and dale. These guns run over $6400 when new, and this gun has barely been carried or fired.
