Description:
S# 3102, 38 rimfire, 4 inch barrel, bright very good bore with a few scattered small areas of erosion. This interesting little revolver was built in the late 1860's as a percussion gun and was converted to rimfire at the factory prior to sale. The barrel, lever catch, wedge pin, and frame show matching numbers. Loaded lever is numbered and does not match. Gun shows 20% original blue finish with balance a brown patina. The grips show wear and small marks from long service. Cylinder shows five panel scenes. This revolver is quite unusual as it has a loading lever for percussion use and was converted to cartridge loading prior to sale. Antique.
