This Model 21 is a desirable factory TRAP GRADE. It has been upgraded with fine quality engraving on the receiver, top lever,forend iron, barrels & trigger guard.  We have not been able to find an engravers signature but the layout & execution is top shelf execution. The bottom & sides have been covered with gorgeous ribbons & scroll work transitioning into deep relief on breech balls & top of frame.... splendid work. Nice scroll on breech wedges and trigger guard. Gold "TRAP" and "SAFE" inlaid. This is work that is seldom seen. 30" barrels RT .730  20K choke  28k MWT LT .730  37k choke  28K MWT Wonderful shooting chokes!!! Bright shiny bores, no dents, no dings. Barrels ring true. Very very slight pitting may be evident but inconsequential. The gun is tight, crisp & on face. Double triggers,non-automatic safety. Automatic ejectors. Front brass bead, mid-bead sheared. Top lever left of center..may need adjustment eventually, very tight. Nice clean crisp engraved screw heads. Barrels have been reblued long ago most likely when engraving applied, nice blue finish showing handling wear, muted slightly, Blue on receiver faded & worn evenly...sides bright, belly mostly worn. Straight long tang worn grey, trigger bow bright blue. Buttstock & beavertail forend is handsome straight grain walnut with nice tobacco & smoke color & figure. Straight grip to a replaced pad. Nice forend checkering is rather sharp, grip checkering rather worn but easily recut. Side cheek panels treated to lovely scroll to match relief engraving on receiver.  Slight hairline crack at right top of tang... very easily made to go away. Beavertail forend with no chips, cracks or gouges. 14 3/4"LOP  1 1/4"DAC 1 3/4" DAC Great shooting dimensions !! This is a very handsome Winchester M21 TRAP GRADE that will be a showstopping shooting machine with a teeny bit of TLC.
