Description:
This shortened bayonet now has a 9 1/2 inch blade. Metal surfaces are grey with scattered dark staining. Pommel has many small marks and dings from period of use, no crest is visible but letters "As.FA" are stamped on right side. grips show wear , dings and oil with well flattened rivets. The scabbard is quite interesting, it appears to be a scabbard tip welded to a scabbard throat with frog stud. The weld is roughly ground to smooth. This is a unique shortened bayonet in a shortened scabbard.
