The action is crisp and snappy on this beautiful winchester 1894 delux checkered pistol grip take down. the wood show no cracks or chips has that beautiful winchester deep red smooth grain. the finish retains 95& original blue on barrel and take down magazine with marks from handling over the last 120 sone years. Receiver shows 10% flaking on both sides of receiver with the 90% vivid blue the case colors ave vivid both sides of lever with deep irradesent blue hues.Also note very seldom seen is a full length magazine tube barrel length is 22 inches and is the extra light weight version with tappered barrel . the factory letter document the features. this is a 10 feature rifle also has the short forarm at 8 3/4 inches the bore shows very good vivid rifeling and bright shiny all the way to the muzzel. serial number denotes 1898 and can be shipped to your front door...... tis a very disirable short extra light weight rifle.........noo FFL required...note the lyman sight front with ivory bead and lyman tang sight also has a 3 leaf express with platnum inlays......this is a very rare and desirable ppeice in 95% over all condition.......with proof of ID ships to your door
