- Note: This appears to be an unfired Pietta 1851 Navy in caliber 44. Although the 1851 Navy was never made in 44 caliber, this Pietta has a reinfoced cylinder to accomadate the larger caliber. The 1843 naval engagement scene is crisply rolled on the cylinder. Otherwise, the gun is quite traditional.
