69 caliber. Dated 1850 on the lock plate AND the barrel tang. Cartouches present on left side of stock. Clear dates, eagle and proofs. The ramrod is original - it had been shortened but has been stretched by Master Gunsmith John G. Zimmerman. Nice piece.
