Description:
Winchester Model 1890, Made in 1907. Chambered in .22 WRF, Special order semi deluxe with a pistol grip and checkered straight grain stock. One of only 426 semi deluxe rifles built in the second model blued receiver era per the Ned Schwing book. This rifle is 100% original and correct. Assembly numbers are correct, intact and matching on butt stock, lower tang, and butt plate. Receiver has nice original bluing on the left side with some turning to a patina. Right side has more of a smooth uncleaned patina. Protected areas have bright blue. Barrel and magazine tube have good amounts of original finish as well. Some parts turning a nice plum color. Bore has corrosion with strong rifling visible. Butt stock and forearm are very good, with original finish. No cracks or damage. Checkering is sharp and in the correct original I-style. A great original 1890 semi deluxe that letters! Comes with a serial number search sheet from the Cody Museum confirming the configuration. 3-day return policy.
