Custom Featherweight Model 70 done by Evans Compton. Extraordinary figure in stock. Borderless checkering that is approximately 28 lpi. Perfectly executed skeleton buttplate and grip cap. Why use a post-64 barreled action? I don't know, but that's why the price is where it is, and it's a beautiful piece that shoots great. Has rings and bases, but Leupold 3x9 VX-2 on it is $150 if you want it included.
