KENTUCKY LONGRIFLE DEER HIDE HUNTING BAG CIRCA 1860’S-70’s. 9”X 9” fine quality canvas lined deer hide bag with stitched cowhide trim and 5 nickel plated rivets. Good condition with the leather dry but straps in good order. One of the side retaining keeps is separated but an easy repair. Fur in excellent condition. Professionally made hunting bag for use with a percussion longrifle or half stock rifle of better quality. An expensive bag in it’s day of the type sold by Hartley and Graham of New York and Grubb & Co. in Philadelphia.
