Description:
These E.A. Prescott S&W Style Pocket and Belt Revolvers were made from 1861 to 1863, with very few manufactured. They were closely patterned after the Smith & Wesson Model 2 Army, were fitted with a 6-shot cylinder and chambered in .32 R.F.. It was one of the earliest forms of Prescott revolvers. This gun is in good condition with most of the finishes on the metal having disappeared years ago. The grips, which I believe are Rosewood, appear to retain a lot of their original finish. They do have assorted chips and dents but fit well and are not loose. The bore is shootable with visable rifling, but rough, and the action functions smoothly. A rare Civil War rimfire six-gun.
