Very rare Grunig & Elmiger CISM target rifle. 7.5x55 Swiss caliber. 25.5" blued bull barrel. The rifle is in excellent original condition showing virtually no use. Barrel throat is in mint new condition. Bolt and bolt face show virtually no use. Super high quality 10 shot metal detachable magazine, 3 lug action with adjustable trigger that is just awesome. The adjustable trigger breaks like a glass rod and is currently set for about 1.5KG. Integral receiver dovetail which the iron sight clamps onto. Grunig & Elmiger marked rear target sight with adjustable iris and colored filters. 22mm Centra front sight with adjustable inner and outer iris. Offset hand stop rail for either left or right handed shooters. Walnut stock with adjustable cheek piece and butt plate assembly. Anyone that knows about Grunig & Elmiger knows of their quality and accuracy standards. Priced at less than half of what a new one costs.
For those not familiar with the 7.5x55 Swiss it shoots .308” diameter projectile and has identical case capacity as the 30-06. The 7.5 Swiss is a great 1000 yard cartridge. Quality ammo and brass are readily available from Hornday, Norma, PPU, RUAG, etc, Ammo and brass can also be made by just necking up .284 Winchester. The 7.5 Swiss is the gold standard in Europe. The 7.5 Swiss is supersonic well past 1000 yards and is perfect for NRA long range competition. (600-1000 yards).
Numerous successes with Grunig rifles have been achieved at European, World and Olympic Competitions. Not only the Swiss but also the National Rifle Teams of nearly all nations actively executing the shooting sport are equipped with Grunig rifles. This rifle complies with current ISSF rules.
