Now here's something you don't see every day! A 3rd generation Colt Cutaway Single Action Army in excellent New in Box condition.
The "cutaway" concept was created by Samuel Colt to visually demonstrate the action, features and engineering of Colt revolvers.
This is a factory produced Colt Cutaway and in amazing condition with it's original nickel finish, walnut grips and fire-blued screws.
This revolver has a series of clean factory cut panels on the left side. The barrel has a cut-out near the muzzle and the frame has 8 cut-outs, along with one cut-out on the cylinder and on the grip at the top. The one piece smooth walnut grip has a Colt medallion on the right side. Nickel with niter blue hammer, cylinder pin, trigger, ejector rod head, and screws. Complete with a maroon factory box numbered to the gun.
