1974 - Beretta SO2 Trap - 12ga, 2-3/4", 29-1/4" Boehler Steel Bbls, Briley Chokes (10 Total), Oil Finish Wood, LOP 14-3/8" Drop 1-1/2" to 2", Right Hand Palm Swell, Slight Cast Off, Weight 7 lbs. 8 oz.
Exact Same Gun as SO4 - But Higher Grade with 60% Coverage of Hand Engraving. Prior to introduction of the SO4 nomenclature for Target Guns in 1975, Beretta Sidelock Target Guns were simply Target versions of the SO2, SO3, SO3EL, and SO3EELL Grade guns. In about 1975, Beretta began building the dedicated Target Guns with very little engraving and called them SO4. So, effectively, this is an SO4 with SO2 Engraving which is much more extensive than the SO4.
