Payment Types Accepted: Credit Card, Cashiers Check Description: Very rare and desireable Manhattan Arms Company revolver chambered in 32 centerfire with Belgium proofmarks. At first glance, the revolver shows an important advantage compared to the classical Bull Dogs with fixed cylinders. On this one, the cylinder is mounted on a pin that can be pivoted to the left up to 90° out of the frame, exposing all 5 chambers at once and allowing for quicker ejection and reloading then on the classical system that had to be loaded one by one. The basic idea is not new. It had already been introduced in 1879 in the United States by the Shattuck Company of Hatfield, Massachusetts. This little American pocket pistol, ingenious yet of cheap manufacture, is part of the innumerable "Suicide Special" of all sorts that were available all over the US in the 1880's.
