Description:
This is a "RARE" Remington Beals Navy Revolver. Only 400 to 500 of this model were sold to the U.S. ARMY between serial range 13,000 to 15,000. This fine speciman is one of these! The serial number is #1478. It has a 7.5" barrel with an "Excellent" bright bore. .36 CALIBER. The metal is all original blue turning to a beautiful "Plum" patina. It has lots of inspector's acceptance markings. All numbered parts, barrel, trigger guard and frame, match the serial number. The walnust grip panels are solid and left grip displats a strong "Cartouche", with a shallow chip on bottom edge. The right panel shows a very professional repair, that is solid.
