RARE WINCHESTER MODEL 1890 .22 W.R.F. CAL. RIFLE WITH CASE HARDENED FRAME CIRCA 1899. 24” octagon barrel with factory original bead front and Model 1890 rear sights and stamped on the top flat “22 W.R.F.”. All original and matching. Excellent blue with 95% plus remaining on the barrel and magazine tube. Even the bolt and hammer have most of the blue. Case hardened frame turning grey with some color in the recesses. Stock and slide handle with the original finish. Excellent screws. Perfect working order and very good bore with some frosting but sharp rifling. Scarce .22 WRF with early case hardened frame. Winchester Factory letter.
