Description:
This is a nice used Civil War , Remington "OLD ARMY", Model 1861 .44 caliber Revolver. Has an 8" barrel with a strong bore. Serial number is #3092. Only, approx. 6000 of this model were manufactured and issued to the troops. The metal is all grey patina. The walnut grip panels are solid. The left grip panel shows nice "Cartouche" and has small loss on bottom edge. All numbered parts, barrel, trigger guard and frame all have same number as serial number.
