Description:
This is a very nice Colt Single Action Army, Cavalry Revolver.  Ainsworth inspected  and Manfactured  in 1874.  Has Kopec Letter!  Early Italic Colt Markings. .45 caliber with a 7.5" barrel.  Very good bore.Nice and sharp rifling!  Has Two-Line patent markings on the left sideof frame with "U.S".  THe Serial Number is #9620. Barrel, cylinder , backstrap and triggerguard have same numbers and also small"A". Loading gate has "65" on it.  Has a strong action that indexes properly. Metal has a grey to brown patina. Edges have ,sharp and crisp, markings. The replacement , walnut grips ,are nice and solid and have the OWA cartouche. The  original grips, which are included, have the serial number inked in the backstrap channel. (THE LAST 2 PICTURES SHOW THE ORIGINAL GRIPS ON THE REVOLVER) They show wear, shrinkage  and handling marks. I accept USPS Money Orders or Bank Cashier's Check.
