Description:
This is a size 7 3/8, standard British Army khaki felt beret with olive leather edge strip and Broad Arrow stamped, Kangol Wear Ltd. maker's stencil. The interior tan cloth lining is in fine condition and intact with virtually no wear and has an original embroidered Polish Eagle badge sewn to the front, and unmarred metal ventilation grommets at the right side. The badge is likewise in excellent, virtually new condition, and the beret itself is a terrific example of a just post-World War II Free Polish uniform item. It would make a fabulous addition to a collection.
