****SOLD****your viewing is a Remington Model 31B in 20 gauge. Shotgun has a 26" barrel fitted with a Cutts Comp. Standard LOP with original butt plate. Wood is excellent, bluing is very good. No nicks or major scratches. Barrel date code indicates it was made in April of 1934. You will notice in picture no. 7 that there is a chip of wood missing from the top of pistol grip where it meets receiver. I suspect this chip came off of the stock shortly after it was purchased as it is worn From carry and use. It's a cosmetic issue, and is not a functional issue. I have shot this shotgun at the skeet field and it functions flawlessly. Very fun old shotgun to shoot. Made when they machined all the parts. I. Have to say Bill Burton had the Cutts installed at some time. I am assuming that it was early as the tubes come in a walnut carry case with wrench. Very unique setup.
